Simplify Life…!

While I was still an engineering student, four decades ago, and computers were beasts, my final year assignment was writing a basic program for a steel structure using engineering and mathematical formulae on a monster called TDC 316! I went proudly with about 110 lines of code to my Professor. He looked at me, pulled a piece of paper, wrote few lines of code, handed over it to me, and said “Keep it short and simple my boy! Choose the simplest, most direct solution with the fewest number of steps, always!”.

The first business lesson I got before entering into the real corporate world!
